How do I find what changed between two versions of an agreement or contract?
Add the old version first and the new one second, keep "Text — word by word" and press Compare PDFs. Added words are shown in green and removed words in red, page by page. Download the HTML report to keep or share the result.
Can it compare scanned PDFs?
Scanned pages are pictures, so there are no words to compare. The tool switches to Visual mode and outlines the areas that look different in red. To compare the actual words of scans, run both files through OCR PDF first.
What if one PDF has more pages?
Pages are compared by position (page 1 with page 1, and so on). Extra pages are listed as "only in the new PDF" or "only in the original PDF". If pages were inserted in the middle, the pages after it will show as changed.
